A little about me

Valerie works with clients starting new chapters in their life, from those downsizing into their retirement years to couples welcoming little ones into their growing families. For almost 20 years, she’s assisted clients buying and selling properties from Silicon Valley to San Francisco and across much of the East Bay. Her clients say she is a creative problem solver, resourceful negotiator, diligent, enthusiastic, fiercely protective of their interests, straightforward, authentic, warm. She’s committed to remaining a consultant/real estate advisor long after the ink on the transaction has dried. Valerie is grateful to her numerous former clients, friends, and family as 80% of her business comes from personal referrals. Seeking growth and new experiences, she moved as from Austin, Texas to New York City, where she had earned a full academic scholarship at Sarah Lawrence College. Her degree in Liberal Arts with concentrations in writing and psychology prepared her to collaborate effectively with a diverse array of people, discern unique situations and enable positive outcomes. Next, a career in management and event planning at high profile New York City restaurants continued to teach her the value of hard work, diligence, detailed planning, contract negotiation, and innovative marketing. “The home-buying and selling process is often stressful, surprising, and joyous all at once. It’s my passion to advocate for my clients and walk with them through every step of that journey”. When not focusing intensely on serving her clients, Valerie relishes time trying new recipes and local restaurants with her husband of 20+ years and exploring the Bay Area with her amazing daughter who recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from CalPoly San Luis Obispo and giving back to the community volunteering as Board President for Sister to Sister 2 aka Serenity House in Oakland. https://www.serenityhouseoakland.org/
